Compared to its predecessor, the FD-5800, the Shimano 105 front derailleur FD-5801 convinces with an improved hinge design that allows easy adjustment without special tools.

When shifting the two chainrings on the 11-speed drivetrain, the operating forces are lower because the natural power curve of the hand was taken into account.
