History
Nitto was founded in 1923 in Tokyo, Japan and is a Japanese manufacturer of bicycle components such as handlebars, stems, and seat posts. For some time now, Nitto has also been manufacturing other bicycle components such as bicycle racks. Various Nitto components are certified for track cycling races, and the company was one of the first to outfit the Japanese Keirin races.
Description
The Nitto B136AA 'bee' bar is a similar shape and style as the 132 and 135 Grand Randonneur handlebars. The biggest difference is the more drop and less reach.
Shallow, easily accessible drops that flare out at the ends. These features combined with the upward-bent flats offer many different hand positions to keep you comfortable on those long rides and rougher surfaces.
This is a first-class and lovely handlebar which would suit any Randonneur / Audax machine, off-road Rando rig or touring bike and its Bar-End compatible.
Be aware the ramps are relatively long, so you may want to use a shorter stem.
Requires brake levers with 23.8mm clamp diameter.

Excellent classic style bars
Gone are the days I bother buying 31.8mm sized handlebars. They just aren't needed for the majority of cases. Instead I hugely prefer my Nitto's (I have the Noodles as well). The quality, aesthetics and feel of the bar are top notch. The B136 has around 1.5-2cm of flare either side (I bought a 40cm, where the hoods are mounted is about 37cm wide). The curves, set back and flare all make for a very comfortable handlebar.
