In 1999 Tektro launched its first hydraulic disc brake which is still the company’s most successful and most important product. Today, Tektro has production facilities in Taiwan and China with over 1,600 employees and offers sales and service throughout Taiwan, China, Europe and the United States.
In 2006, the high-end brand TRP – (Tektro Racing Products) was founded on the idea of building the highest quality braking systems available in the bicycle industry.
